Who we are

The Croatian Democratic Union Youth (CDUY) is the youth following of the political party Croatian Democratic Union (CDU) in Croatia.

In Australia, the Australian Croatian Democratic Union Youth organisation takes on a different role, focusing more on bringing together young Australian-Croatians through various functions and events held throughout the year.

Our aim is to promote Croatian culture, music, tourism and sport through a variety of different means to all young Australian-Croatians interested, but also to other Australian citizens.

Regarding the political aspect of our work, we are collectively a part of the main CDU Youth organisation based in Zagreb, Croatia, and so work together in providing young, energetic people who are politically minded and ready to work for the greater good of Croatia and its people. We believe the CDU Youth organisation can be used to educate and produce future generations of leaders of Croatia and we strive together in order to achieve that goal.

We have a great feeling for the current times in which we live in, both in Australia and in Croatia, which is what makes the Croatian Democratic Union Youth the leading youth political organisation in Croatian and abroad and we are very proud of that destinction. Our work up until now proves that view.
