On Saturday,
May 15 2004, Mladez HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union Youth)
Melbourne branch held its annual general meeting. In
the presence of national president of HDZ Australia
and New Zealand Mr. Rade Buljubasic, along with some
old and new faces of Mladez HDZ, a new committee of
young and energetic people was chosen to run the Melbourne
branch of Mladez HDZ for the next twelve months. Members
of the committee for the year of 2004/2005 are:
President
- Marko Bajer
Vice president - Kristina Barisic
Secretary - Marisa Vugdelija
Vice secretary - Mary Dobran
Treasurer - Ivana Barisic
Committee member - Ivana Raspudic
 The
next twelve months will be crucial for Mladez HDZ Melbourne
and their main focus will be gathering as many young
Croatians as possible, who are willing to sign up and
help begin their work in organising various cultural
events for the whole Croatian community in Victoria.
The newly elected
committee members are willing to work hard to promote
the interests and values of HDZ amongst the younger
generations of Croatians, and believe their future work
will be successful in all areas.
At the AGM two members
were also selected to represent Mladez HDZ Melbourne
at this years annual Convention of HDZ Australia and
New Zealand to be held in Hobart during October, those
two members are Marko Bajer and Marisa Vugdelija.
